    Responsibilities

    The successful Optical Manager will be able to supervise, coach and develop optical staff.  They will also help to enhance profitability of the store among other daily operations. The Optical Manager will also ensure a delightful customer experience for exam patients and shoppers.

    Qualifications

    • Must be licensed to work as an optician within the State.
    • 1+  years of management experience in retail; drive for results and proven track record in reaching goals
    • Strong skills in supervising others, and mentoring them to generate customer satisfaction and sales
    • Able to use computer systems for sales, ordering, timekeeping, payroll and HR activities
    • Polished customer service skills and a genuine ability to understand your patients’ needs. Capable of resolving customer complaints if they arise, with tact and positive outcomes
    • Must be reliable and punctual in attendance to keep store hours and coverage in the store.
    • An interest in fashion eyewear and an eye for style is highly desired.
    • Must be flexible for scheduling, and able to work weekends and holidays, as well as special sales events.
    • This job involves standing for extended periods of time, some walking within the store, some bending, lifting, and organizing of wall displays of frames.
