Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a Machinery Maintenance Technician to work in our clean, air-conditioned state-of-the-art optical manufacturing facility!

The Machinery Maintenance Technicians position is responsible for the day to day maintenance of production equipment in our manufacturing facility under supervision. Daily maintenance functions include:

Responsibilities

• Daily Troubleshooting and repair of optical machinery, including automated lens surfacing and finishing equipment, vacuum coating machinery, and hard coating machinery
• Maintain small equipment related to the optical lab
• Perform plumbing work as needed on equipment
• Perform daily Calibration Procedures to various machines
• Fill out maintenance work orders
• Troubleshoot using mechanical, electrical, and electronics knowledge
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Calibrate new equipment as needed

• Must have previous experience working on electronic equipment.
• Must have electrical background.
• Must have working knowledge of electronics and electrical wiring.
• Must have previous experience working on production equipment strongly preferred
• Experience with Computer Numeric Control (CNC) machinery is a big plus
• PLC experience a plus

• Must be able to work with various hand tools
• Must be able to work overtime schedule as needed incl. weekends
• Must be able to work on machinery alone or with a team
• Must have strong ability to multitask and work on completing tasks

Hours: Sat-Sun(8am-4:30pm) Mon-Wed(4:30pm-12:30am)
