    We are seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager in the New York area to join the sales team for our growing wholesale laboratory division!


    U.S. Vision is the seventh largest retail optical business in the United States. We have 800+ optical stores across the U.S. and Canada. We operate a large, clean, state-of-the-art optical laboratory in New Jersey, near Philadelphia. Our lab has amazing new equipment, quick delivery times, and the highest level of quality. Our wholesale lab business now offers this high quality lab service, providing prescription eyeglasses to opticians and optometrists everywhere, on time and at competitive prices.

    • As a territory sales manager, this position requires a majority of the time is spent in the field visiting prospects and clients to build relationships and make sales.
    • Learn and keep current on the lens products and the optical industry. Develop an expertise on optics and on our company’s lab capabilities so as to better explain the products to opticians, optometrists, and other clients.
    • Develop sales plans and strategies in coordination with the sales team.
    • Communicate regularly with lab management to stay in touch with processes and plans. Monitor lab performance and quality statistics relevant to wholesale lab sales.
    • Document and track sales data and activities, and produce reports on territory sales activities and performance.
    • Address and resolve client issues timely, and identify learning from issues as part of continuous process improvement.
    • Identify opportunities for growth and development within your territory and help grow the business overall.


    • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Extra relevant experience in lieu of education.
    • Three or more years of successful outside sales experience. Optical industry experience is highly desired. Experience working in the optical business is a plus.
    • Computer skills in Microsoft Office. Experience using a customer management database is desired. Ability to use mobile communication devices and apps to accomplish work needs.
    • Excellent client service skills, and sense of urgency in addressing client matters.
    • Ability to communicate persuasively and timely, and build good client relationships.
    • Strong sales talent and the drive and ambition to achieve and surpass goals.
    • Ability to travel frequently by car and also by plane. Overnight trips are required.
    • Good driving record and ability to pass background check confirming driving record.
