U.S. Vision is the seventh largest retail optical chain in the United States. We have been engaged in the retail optical business since 1967. We have about 800 stores in 47 states across the country, and operate a state-of-the-art manufacturing laboratory in Blackwood, New Jersey (about 10 minutes from Philadelphia).
We are seeking a talented Tax Accounting Manager to join our team!
The Tax Accounting Manager is responsible for the preparation and filing of all federal, state and local income tax returns, as well as managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual provision for income taxes as prescribed under ASC 740 (SFAS 109, APB 28, and FIN 18). Included in these responsibilities is the preparation of all necessary disclosures required in annual financial statement filings.
The role is also responsible for working with Corporate Finance in estimating a forecasted effective tax rate, and working with the Corporate Controller and other internal departments in analyzing possible impacts from merger, acquisition, and other activities.
This role reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Finance and manages two direct reports. The primary responsibilities of the Tax Accounting Manager include:
